Country superstar Alan Jackson, celebrating his 25 years in country music, kicked off the 2015 CMA Music Fest last night with his 20th appearance in his nearly 26 year music career.
The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s exhibition Alan Jackson: 25 Years of Keepin’ It Country will end its run Sunday, June 21, 2015. Originally scheduled to end in March this year, the exhibit was held over by popular demand to give CMA Music Fest fans one last opportunity to see the exhibit before it closes.
Alan just wrapped the spring run of his 25th Anniversary KEEPIN’ IT COUNTRY TOUR to a capacity crowd at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver (Morrison), CO.
It all started with a social media campaign. Little Joshua John Waldrop, a 5-year-old cowboy with two different kinds of stage four cancers, wanted to meet Alan Jackson. In a Facebook post, it simply said that he loved Alan’s version of “I’ll Fly Away” from his 2006 gospel album, Precious Memories.
