Superstar’s Chart-Topping Hit Used in New Ad for GE’s ecomagination

TV viewers nationwide are in for a “Good Time” starting today as country superstar Alan Jackson’s hit song “Good Time” is featured in a new ad for GE and its ecomagination technology initiative.

In the TV ad, people of various professions – from factory assembly personnel to airline pilots and flight crews – are seen participating in a massive “around the world” line dance which begins as “Good Time” is heard on a radio. Check out the ad here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yql_HGIYV3g

“Good Time” was originally written and recorded by Alan for his platinum-selling album of the same name. It can be found on his latest release, the two-disc set 34 Number Ones. The album showcases every chart-topping hit from Alan's career, including the Grammy-nominated “As She’s Walking Away,” which teams him with the Zac Brown Band.

The new ad was created by GE’s longtime agency partner, BBDO New York.
