Alan and Zac Brown Band Receives GRAMMY for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - During the GRAMMY pre-telecast awards presentation, Alan Jackson was awarded Best Country Collaboration with Vocals with the Zac Brown Band for their #1 hit “As She’s Walking Away.”  This is Jackson’s second GRAMMY, the first being for his powerful “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)” in 2002.

"I was real honored when Zac asked me to be on this record," Jackson said. "You know, it's pretty cool when a few of us Georgia boys can end up winning a Grammy out in L.A."

Of the win, Zac Brown noted: “It was an honor to be recognized by The Recording Academy as Best New Artist last year, and to be able to follow that up with another win this year was just incredible.  We want to thank our supportive fans, our hard working team and all the great artists who’ve collaborated with us, including one of our musical heroes Alan Jackson, who we share the win for Best Country Collaboration. We’re thrilled and we’re simply going to continue making music we love playing.”
